Mark Looi
President and Founder
Mark Looi is a senior executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in technology strategy and building software. He helps clients obtain exponential improvements from their technology investments.
He assists clients in addressing the accelerating change in technology while avoiding costly pitfalls. He can bring skilled resources to bear in the areas of product management, development, engineering, and QA to solve complex, domain-specific business problems that result in breakthrough effects.
Mark has held General Manager and Partner roles at Microsoft, where he ran businesses that had over $220MM in revenue. He has also served as an Engineering Manager with Adobe.
Mark has MS degrees in Computer Science and Operations Research from Stanford University; he also has a PgDip from the University of Oxford with distinction and a B.Sc. (Honors First Class) from the University of British Columbia.
Roxanne Bornilla
Director of Operations
Roxanne Bornilla is a skilled Business and Operations Manager with expertise in various domains. She has extensive experience in social media marketing, entrepreneurship, relationship management, banking and finance, and global sourcing of IT resources.
Roxanne worked as a business development manager and assisted banking clients with wealth management. She graduated with a degree in Business Management from De La Salle University, Philippines.
Marie Umali
Director Of People
A people person, Marie’s strength lies in her ability to help elevate whomever she interacts with to their fullest potential. She balances a keen understanding of human behavioral psychology with motivation, learning, and discipline principles. Marie brings many years of experience as a business manager, people manager, and coach to her professional practice for Looi Consulting. Her approach is that human concerns aren’t just simple engineering problems, but a myriad of complexities solved by empathy and compassion.
She worked for 18 years in IT marketing and product management.
As Director of People, she handles recruitment, client relationships, and talent well-being, ensuring a multi-faceted, whole-life experience thriving in all physical, mental, and emotional domains is achieved in the workplace. Marie Umali is a graduate of BS Biology at the University of the Philippines, Los Baños.
